Anatol Lyabiedzka will run for presidency with Ramanchuk's program
Neither for Lyabedzka nor for UCP there is an opposition candidate with whom they could work.
At a press conference, on April 28, Anatol Lyabiedzka officially announced that he would run for presidency from the United Civil Party.
The politician said that the party plans to conduct the election campaign at their own expense. This will be the first campaign organized on the principles of volunteer work. Lyabiedzka called on the citizens of Belarus to join the work of his team, as well as to help financially.
The UCP leader said that his program will be based on the program used at the 2010 polls by the candidate of the United Civil Party Yaraslau Ramanchuk. For this election campaign, the program will be revised.
According to Lyabedzka, neither him nor the party think there is an opposition candidate with whom they are willing to work and withdraw their candidacy.
