Azarenka loses to Kerber, drops out of Australian Open
Belarusian tennis player Victoria Azarenka (World No.16) has not managed to make it to the Australian Open semi-final. She lost to the World No.6 (Angelique Kerber of Germany) in the ¼ final — 3:6, 5:7. Azarenka used to defeat the German all the time before.
Belarusian easily defeated Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck, Montenegrin Danka Kovinić, Japanese Naomi Osaka and Czech Barbora Strýcová before the loss.
Azarenka won the tournament twice – in 2012 and 2013.
