Barack Obama visits Europe

The situation in Ukraine will be one of the main topics on the agenda. “We will focus on supporting Ukraine’s people and government, on our efforts aimed at strengthening and modernizing NATO, diversifying the European energy safety and negotiating about the transatlantic partnership in trade and investments,” deputy national security adviser for strategic communication for U.S. President Ben Rhodes said.

The U.S. President will arrive in Poland on Tuesday morning and meet the country’s administration and other Central and Eastern European leaders. Barack Obama is planning to meet Ukrainian President-elect Petro Poroshenko on Wednesday. Then the American President will head for Brussels and attend a G-7 summit there.
