Battalion commander Chorny: Ukrainians have not left Donetsk Airport
They keep defending the buildings that can still be used for defense.
Ukrainians are still defending Donetsk Airport, commander of the 5th battalion of the Right Sector Chorny told Civil Television. Reports about Ukrainians leaving the airport because everything had been destroyed there appeared earlier.
Militants blew up the airport’s new terminal. They asked to allow them to take away the wounded and killed from there. Ukrainians agreed to it, censor.net reports. The militants made use of the opportunity and mined the new terminal. They blew it up alter. As a result, some ‘cyborgs’ (Ukrainains) were killed, wounded and captured.
Some defenders are under the debris now, Chorny claimed. They are probably all dead. Ukrainian fighters are defending the weather tower and a number of other objects. Their reinforcement is approaching Donetsk Airport, some sources report.
