Belapan cameraman detained briefly in Minsk
Cameraman Vasil Siamashka was detained at 1630 near Kastrychnitski police station in Minsk when on editorial assignment.
According to BelaPAN, Vasil Syamashka was detained when he was filming the activists of Speak the Truth! campaign when they were leaving the building of the police station. Euroradio reminds that on Saturday the police detained some 30 activists at the campaign's office in Minsk. They were put on a police bus and taken to the police statiom. Some of them have already been released.
Vasil Syamashka was held for aboout an hour. The police released him after erasing all his video footage.
