Belarus builds more ice arenas to develop women's hockey

51 ice arenas will operate in the near future across Belarus, Ice Hockey Federation chairman Yauhen Vorsin said when unveiling the first women's professional ice hockey team named Panthers.
"All those arenas will host ice sports schools for children and women", he said.

On August 13, Belarus became the 35th country in the world which develops women's ice hockey. Yauhen Vorsin believes Belarus could apply for participation in the women's world cup in two or three years.
