Belarus plans to create a register of performers and other creative workers, responsible for the development and implementation of scripts. Proposals to this effect have been submitted to the government, said Minister of Culture Anatol Markevich.

"In order to protect the audience from unscrupulous organizers, from 2023 the work on tours of foreign artists will be in the hands of the Philharmonic and other major state concert organizations. Proposals have been submitted to the government to create a register of performers and other creative professionals responsible for the development and implementation of the scripts," BelTA quoted the minister.

On August 1, 2022, Belarus introduced a register of organizers of cultural and entertainment events to regulate concert activities.

As Euroradio previously reported, on February 22, the head of the presidential administration, Ihar Serheyenka, said that all employees of cultural institutions in the country have become "fighters of the ideological front".
