Belarus to defend BMZ interests in EU antidumping investigation
The Belarusian authorities will defend the interests of the Belarusian Metallurgic Plant (BMZ) in the antidumping investigation organized by the European Union, director of the foreign economic activities department of the Belarusian MFA Raman Sobaleu said in the programme Contours on ONT on April 3.
Sobaleu: “The Republic of Belarus and the BMZ will claim to be an interested party soon. Our producers are ready to defend their interests. We know what to do.”
Antidumping investigations are not a new thing for Belarus. Independent Belarus has already gone through an antidumping investigation connected with Belarusian potash fertilizers, Sobaleu noted.
The European Commission started an antidumping investigation against the Belarusian Metallurgic Plant on March 31.
