Belarus keen to improve relations with EU

Belarus-EU relations were discussed in Minsk when Belarusian Minister for Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makei met with Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service Thomas Mayr-Harting on Monday, June 6 in Minsk. Makei and Mayr-Harting discussed ‘topical issues of Belarus-EU interaction,' the MFA press service reported.

Belarus is interested in deepening its relations with the European Union, Alyaksandr Lukashenka announced when accepting the credentials of 13 Ambassadors (including Poland and Slovakia) on June 6.
