Belarus to keep duties on petroleum products exports in 2015
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich says Belarus will keep $1.5 billion from Russian crude oil export duties in 2015.
According to Belarusian state news agency BelTA which quotes the press office of the Belarusian government, Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Uladzimir Semashka and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich inked the deal at an ad hoc meeting in the Russian Black Sea resort city of Sochi.
The new agreement covers 2015, with the total amount of exempt duties yet to be revealed.
In total, Belarus annually transfers around 3-4 billion dollars of export duties on petroleum products produced from the duty-free Russian oil to the Russian budget . Under the current deal, Minsk has won the right to keep in its budget 1.5 billion dollars of export duties on oil products export produced from the Russian crude oil.
