Belarus mulls visa-free travel for foreign sanatorium customers
Visa-free regime may be introduced in the second quarter of 2016 for foreigners wishing to receive treatment at Belarusian health resorts, Director of National Center for Health Resorts under the Council of Ministers Henadz Balbatouski said in a statement.
"Together with the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, we are working on a document to introduce visa-free entry and exit for tourists, including those heading to Belarusian sanatoriums. I hope the decision will be taken in this quarter. The list of countries (between 10 and 20) is being discussed with all interested parties. The key criteria is the absence of terrorism threat," state news agency BELTA quotes Balbatouski as saying.
