Belarus to significantly reduce export duties on oil and oil products
Starting from January 1, 2016, Belarus will reduce the export duty on oil and oil products exported outside the Eurasian Economic Union. The resolution was signed on Monday by the Belarusian government.
As BelTA reports, the export duty on crude oil will be reduced from $88.4 to $73.3 per ton. The duty on naphtha will decrease from $75.1 to $52 per ton, on commercial gasoline - from $68.9 to $44.7 per ton. With regard to the duty on light, medium distillates, it will be 29.3 dollars per ton instead of the current $42.4. This duty is applicable to the diesel as well.
As was earlier reported by Euroradio, a month ago, the export duty on oil and oil products also decreased but not that significantly. The export duty on crude oil was reduced from $97.1 to $88.4 per ton, duty on naphtha - from $82.5 to $75.1 per ton, on commercial gasoline - from $75.7 to $68,9 per ton.
