Belarusian frontier guards confiscate EU flags from Brester
Seven EU flags have been confiscated from a civil activist ‘for an expertise’.
Belarusian frontier guards detained Brest activist Andrei Sharenda in the bus heading from Warsaw to Minsk. It happened during the passport control procedure at the Belarusian border at about 2 a.m.
The activist was searched. Several EU flags were found on him. The frontier guards confiscated them ‘for an expertise’. Sharenda was let off a few hours later. His name is on the black list of activists that get searched when crossing the state border, the Brester believes.
