Belarusian photo journalist wounded in Kiev
Vasil Fyadosenka was hit by a rubber bullet while taking pictures for Reuters, his colleague Syarhei Hryts told Radio Liberty.
"I am working in Grushevski Street now. It has been a hot spot since morning,” Hryts said. “I can confirm that policemen with rifles are targeting journalists, cameramen and photo reporters. A rubber bullet hit my jacket. Fortunately, I was not injured. However, a rubber bullet hit my college Vasil Fyadosenka in the forehead – it went between the goggles and the helmet. He is okay now. He was shocked at first as it was very painful and stunning.”
