Some Belarusian and Russian tennis players will be allowed to play at the US Open under a neutral flag. This decision was passed by the United States Tennis Association. Its statement stresses that Russia's actions in Ukraine are condemned.

U.S. Open Tennis Championships will be held from August 29 to September 11.

In the spring of 2022, the International Tennis Federation suspended the membership of the federations of Belarus and Russia, tournaments in these countries were canceled and national teams were suspended from competition. At the same time, the WTA and the ATP have decided to allow the Belarusian and Russian tennis players to participate in tournaments under their auspices, but with neutral status.

The Wimbledon organizers banned tennis players from Belarus and Russia to participate in the tournament in spring. WTA and ATP did not agree and decided that this year's Wimbledon would be held without ranking points.
