Belarusians paid 31 bln rubles of casino and betting tax
In January this year, Belarusians paid 31 billion rubles of tax off their gain from casinos and bookmakers, said Deputy Minister for Taxes and Duties Ihar Klepcha.
According to him, the total number of gambling establishments has reduced in Belarus: their number has decreased by last year. Also, 97 warnings were issued to the gambling businesses in the past year.
Last year, casinos, betting shops and other gambling places paid 424 bln rubles of taxes.
