Benefit cuts not to affect veterans
The planned cuts in the social benefits system is not to affect war veterans, according to lawmaker Anatol Novikau, who chairs the Culture, Science and Social Policy Committee in the Belarus's House of Representatives. He said that Belarus lawmakers were against against the proposed cuts for the public transport benefits for schoolchildren and students, accoding to BELTA. Novikau said MPs had not started yet reviewing the psoposed law on social benefits, because they were overloaded with other legislations.
