Berazhkou to head BFF marketing and communications department
Uladzimir Berazhkou will head the department for marketing and communications of the Belarusian Football Federation, BELTA reports.
The ex-CEO of FC Dynama Minsk will work in the Belarusian Football Federation, Euroradio reported on June 1. He has got the new job with the help of BFF head Syarhei Rumas.
He was glad to accept the offer, Berazhkou said. He has promised to try to make football the number 1 kind of sport in Belarus.
The specialist also commented on his criminal case. The investigation is almost over and he is hoping that it will all end well.
He also applied for resignation from the position of vice chairperson of the Hockey Federation but it was declined, Berazhkou said. He thanked the federation for not leaving him alone in a difficult period. “I was a difficult situation and many people left me. The Hockey Federation didn’t. It was a factor of men’s solidarity,” BelaPAN quotes Berazhkou.
Uladzimir Berazhkou was arrested in August 2015. He was the CEO of FC Dynama Minsk back then. The police suspected him of misappropriation. Berazhkou was released on recognizance in April 2016. He was cooperating with investigators, repented and fully compensated all the damage done, the investigators said.
