Berkut made to kneel in Lviv (video)
About 100 Berkut members have knelt in front of a crowd of many thousand people near the monument to Shevchenko.
They apologized and promised to always be on the people’s side.
People were shouting ‘Shame!’ and throwing coins and other small things at the riot policemen, UNIAN reports. They went to Kiev but did not take part in the fighting there, the Berkut members said.
