Biathlon: Domracheva to perform in world cup events despite illness
Belarus' biathlon team doctor Andrei Semeniakau says minor illness will not prevent Darya Domracheva from competing in the upcoming World Cup events.
"She is a bit sick after being somewhat emotionally and physically exhausted. But we have enough time to recover. The first upcoming World Cup event will take place in Slovenia on March 6. The lift and fight goes on," Domracheva's doctor Andrei Semeniakau is quoted by Pressball newspaper as saying.
Official sources reported yesterday that the three-time Olympic champion and the Hero of Belarus Darya Domracheva had received $450 thousand of prize money from the Belarusian government to her bank account.
