Campaign For Independent Belarus launched
It has been initiated by the civil association Alternativa (founded in Lithuania, it has a steering committee in Belarus).
Russia is posing a threat to Belarus’ independence now, its head Aleh Korban told Euroradio. Civil activists are going to spread independence ideas in the society in connection with it.
Korban described the actions planned for the campaign:
"There will be street activities and popularization of the national symbols in different ways, creative flash mobs (we will try to stick to the legislation) and cultural events.”
Actual issues will be discussed and a round-table discussion with independent experts and historians will be organized, Aleh Korban said.
The campaign For Independent Belarus! will last until autumn.
