"Chernobyl Way” will not head for Bangalore Square, it will head for chapel in Park of Friendship of Peoples
The traditional manifestation “Chernobyl Way” will not head for Bangalore Square – the place where Minsk authorities are going to send it. It will end in Friendship of Peoples Park situated nearby.
The action’s steering committee took the decision on April 22. This is what a member of the steering committee Uladzimir Labkovich said in an interview with ERB:
"The manifestation will not head for Bangalore Square. It will end in another place - near the chapel in Friendship of Peoples Park. We think it corresponds to the idea of the event and to the mournful date of April 26 “Chernobyl Way” will also be dated for.
Let us remind you that “Chernobyl Way” will start near the building of the presidium of the National Academy of Sciences. The gathering will start on Saturday, April 26, at 2 p.m.
