Chinese journalist imprisoned for three years for criticizing communist party

A Chinese writer and journalist Chen Daotzun has been sentenced to three years of imprisonment for attempts to undermine the political regime, informs Lenta.ru.
The court found attacks against the communist party in the three articles presented as a proof of the journalist’s guilt.

The court needed only half an hour to return the journalist guilty. Daotzun’s lawyer tried to convince the court that the journalist simply criticized the communist party and did not urge to overthrow the regime.
