Civil community raises money to pay Dashkevich’s fines
People have helped the Young Front leader pay his fines for unauthorized opposition actions. A stranger has donated 2 thousand dollars and left the money in the BPF headquarters, Zmitser Dashkevich wrote on Facebook. Dashkevich has paid all the fines and got his confiscated car back ‘from court freeloaders’ clucthes’.
“I did not ask anyone for assistance but dozens of people offered their help! Some people allowed me to use their cars if I needed. One person was insisting on presenting me one of his cars. I have never seen such support! I would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers!” the oppositionist wrote.
Zmitser Dashkevich’s car was confiscated by Minsk Pershamaiski District law enforcement officers on January 25. The Young Front member was given 10 days to get back his car.
