Committee of Solidarity with Ukraine to send observers to May 25 election
Negotiations with potential observers are still in process, representative of the civil committee Vital Rymasheuski told Euroradio.
Vital Rymasheuski: “Negotiations are in process, there are volunteers who want to go. We are discussing it with human rights organizations so that it would be coordinated – with the Belarusian Helsinki Committee and others. I think that we will send the maximum number of those who will volunteer and will be able to pay for the trip and so on.”
The organizers are going to send a letter to the Ukrainian CEC in a week. The people sent to Ukraine will be short-term observers, Rymasheuski said.
The presidential election will be held in Ukraine on May 25.
