Deputy head of General Staff is dismissed
Major General Ihar Hlod has been dismissed from the position of deputy head of the General Staff of the Republic of Belarus. The President signed the order on Monday, June 27. Hlod has been transferred to the reserve because of his age. He still has the right to wear military uniform and decoration.
Ihar Hlod was appointed to the position of deputy head of the General Staff by Alyaksandr Lukashenka on October 28, 2008. He used to work at the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus.
