Militant planned to seize Kahovskaya hydropower station in Ukraine
Ukraine's security service (SBU) detains a 54-year-old resident of Kherson province who planned attacks on a power plant.
He is the leader of an armed subversive group that had to seize strategic objects in Ukraine. In particular, they wanted to seize Kahovskaya hydropower station.
The detained was assisted by Russian special services and had been waiting for arms supplies from Crimea, UNIAN notes. The man fulfilled Russian intelligence tasks and sent information about the stationing and relocation of Ukrainian troops to his curators in Crimea.
SBU is going to detain all the members of the subversive group.
