Donetsk separatists threaten to organize referendum on joining Russia
They have announced it from the seized building of the regional administration and council using loudspeakers.
The aggressors read out a resolution and demanded to organize a meeting of Donetsk Regional Rada to make a decision about the necessity of conducting a referendum on joining Russia.
If the meeting is not held by midnight, the separatists threaten to dissolve the regional council on Monday and chose different representatives of the society as deputies.
They are urging their adherents to come to the administrative building and support them. A lot of food is being delivered to the building now, UNIAN reports referring to local mass media.
There are about 200 people in the seized building. Many participants of the meeting do not want to enter it.
