Official Kiev would like to conduct the negotiations on December 9 while militants’ leaders insist on December 12.
Another meeting of the trilateral contact group is appointed for December 9 in Minsk, BBC refers to spokesman of the Ukrainian Security and Defence Council Andrei Lysenko. The date has been approved by Russia, Ukraine and the OSCE, he noted. Belarus is ready to organize the meeting, Lysenko said.
The leaders of the self-declared Donetsk People’s Republic would like the meeting in Minsk to be held on December 12 or later, DPR representative Denis Pyshylin said.
The meeting in Minsk should be held on December 9, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced earlier. He was hoping that the fire would be ceased after the meeting on December 9.
