Drone to keep order at Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius
Part of the Lithuanian capital will be blocked on the first summit day – November 28.
Traffic has been blocked or restricted in some of the main Vilnius thoroughfares and the whole centre of the city is closed, newsbalt.ru reports. It is forbidden to park cars and even to temporarily stop in the old town.
Hundreds of policemen in plain clothes and in uniform are guarding the city streets. Vilnius police have not announced the number of policemen involved in it.
The police have asked frontier gaurds for help. They are using a helicopter and a drone for watching the city from above. This know-how has already been tested at some meetings before.
