Euromaidan amnesty comes into force in Ukraine
The law will be applied to all the people who took part in mass protest actions from December 27, 2013 until February 2, 2014.
108 criminal cases will be closed, 268 action participants will be exempt from responsibility. The cases must be closed within 30 days, liga.net notes. Meanwhile, the cases started against Maidan self-defence troops will not be closed, oppositionists think.
Protesters left the buildings of Kiev City State Administration and the buildings of five regional administartions on Sunday. Grushevski Street in Kiev was also cleared.
