European Commission expects Ukrainian delegation to discuss association agr
President of the European Commission José Manuel Barroso is ready to accept Ukraine’s delegation.
Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovich suggested it to European politicians by phone, RIA Novosti reports.
Meanwhile, the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ukrainian Ambassador Valeri Stepanov in connection with the situation in Ukraine.
Swedish Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt wrote on Twitter: “We have summoned the Ukrainian Ambassador to express our anxiety in connection with the use of force against peaceful protesters.”
The Ukrainian Ambassador to Lithuania was also summoned to the local MFA. Vilnius urged Kiev to punish the guilty.
