The explosives might have been planted by the Soviet soldiers as far back as during the World War II to delay the eastward advance of the Nazi troops, reports the state news agency BELTA. The explosives were found by railway workers who removed the rails for repairs. They urgently called in a demolition team, which took 54 TNTs and destroyed them in a safe location.
