Football: BATE fire head coach Oleg Dulub
FC BATE have annonced the sacking of head coach Oleg Dulub.
"Due to the negative results in the recent matches, namely the defeat in the Belarus Cup final and dropping points in the Premier League games against Islach and Haradzeya, as well as because of concerns over the team's performance ahead of the games in European cups, the club has decided to terminate the contract with BATE head coach Oleg Dulub. The decision on a new coach and his assistants will be communicated later," says the statement on the BATE website.
BATE signed Oleg Dulub on 5 January 2018. He replaced Aliaksandr Yermakovich who narrowly won the Premie League in a controvertial season.
