Former TV anchor appointed Lukashenka's new press secretary
Natallia Eysmant fronted the daily wrap-up news program on the state TV channel Belarus 1 prior to appointment as Lukashenka's spokesperson.
As reported by Euroradio, on November 6, President of Belarus made a number of appointments. Among other things, he appointed a new press secretary -- Natallia Eysmont.
According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, Eysmont is a professional actress. In 2007 she graduated from the Academy of Arts and immediately began working on television. On BT she fronted news bulletins and programs about culture.
In February this year, along with her husband, Ivan Mikhailau, Natallia Eysmont became the host of Galouny efir (Main broadcast) on TV channel Belarus-1.
