Frontier guards, rescuers and policemen to get new drone (video)
It has been created by Belarusian scientists.
Belarusian scientists have created a new drone called Buravesnik. It will be used by rescuers, frontier guards and policemen this year, ONT reports.
Buravesnik’s range of action is up to 290 km, representative of the Belarusian National Academy of Sciences Yury Yatsyna said. Its speed is up to 120 km/h. It can spend up to 10 hours in the air and rise to the height of 5 km. The drone is equipped with a high-resolution camera, brand new infrared imager and a laser range finder.
The serial production of Buravesnik may start in 2015. By the way, foreign specialists have got interested in the Belarusian product.
