Gazprom threatens Ukraine with $18 billion claim
The Russian company may sue Neftegaz Ukraine in Stockholm arbitration court, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said.
The claim is caused by the gas supplies of 2012 and 2013, UNIAN reports. The Russian company may bring in the action right after the previous one (for $4.5 billion), Miller said. The first action was brought to Stockholm arbitration court in connection with the Ukrainian gas debt.
In its turn, Neftegaz Ukraine has brought an action against Gazprom. The Ukrainian company demands a fair market price for the gas supplied by Gazprom to Ukraine.
