Hanlon is officially appointed chief manager of Belarus national hockey team
A Canadian specialist Glen Hanlon has been appointed chief manager of Belarus national hockey team.
The decision was taken by the Hockey Federation of our country on Saturday.
Let us remind you that Belarus national team was most successful at world championships with Hanlon – it was sixth in 2006.
Then he concentrated on his work in NHL and recommended an American Kurt Freiser to replace him. Hanlon returned to the national team at the end of last year as Freiser’s assistant. However, Belarus managed to win only two matches in the two previous world championships with the help of Freiser.
