The United Civic Party press secretary Hanna Krasulina has received a residence permit in Belarus, she wrote in social networks.
"I received a residence permit in the Republic of Belarus. So the case about my deportation is over. Thank you, friends! The next stage is to apply for citizenship," wrote Krasulina.
Euroradio reported earlier that at the end of 2018, the Ministry of Internal Affairs filed a lawsuit demanding the deportation of Krasulina from Belarus for a period of one year. The UCP press secretary has been living in Belarus for more than 10 years, she has a family here. The grounds for the deportation were administrative fines for participating in two unauthorized street rallies and for traveling without a ticket on public transport. The woman paid all the fines.
On December 19, 2018, the Maskouski District court in Minsk ruled to cancel the deportation request for Krasulina from Belarus.
