Belkoopsoyuz head detained by KGB (video)
KGB agents detain Belkoopsoyuz chairman Siarhei Sidzko and several subordinates on suspicion of bribery.
A group of Belcoopsoyuz top managers and employees were involved in illegal activities, KGB press service told Interfax-West. They demanded bribes and sold plots and real estate to investors.
According to KGB, bribes wpuld amount up to 500 thousand dollars. Dzmitry Kalodzezny, head of capital construction department at Belkoopsoyuz and E.Sizuk, deputy head of capital construction department, have also been detained together with Sidzko.
All the detainees remain in custody.
Sidzko was appointed to Belcoopsoyuz board of directors in 2009.
