Hillary Clinton agrees to become US Secretary of State

The senator of New York state Hillary Clinton has agreed to leave the Senate and occupy the position of the US Secretary of State in the administration of the President elect Barrack Obama. The New York Times wrote about it on Friday referring to two anonymous sources in the senator’s circle. According to the newspaper, Clinton took the decision to head the State Department after additional consultations with the President elect.

Sources in Obama’s circle reported  that there would be no official announcements about the appointment of the Secretary of State before November 27, informs Lenta.ru.
