Hospital in Brest buys Euro1.5mn-worth tomograph
The tomograph, made by the US-based company General Electric, allows to carry out a comprehensive examination of patient's internal organs within several minutes.
A total of 20 patients have already been examined at the Brest Regional Hospital two days after the launch of the equipment.
The local health officials also said that similar machines would soon be installed at the Brest Emergency Rescue Hospital and at a district hospital in Baranavichy.
