Hostage-taking in Minsk: man threatens to kill woman with children
Accident happened in the morning in Uruchcha neighborhood.
Police received a call from Minsker who said that in one of the apartments in Nikifarava street, where his wife lives with their two children, her brother made a row (he also lives in the apartment). The attacker had a knife and threatened to kill everyone. Note that the girl is 11 years old, and the boy - 5.
When the police arrived, nobody opened the door. After they learned the details, the police and the MIA special forces carried out an operation to arrest the attacker. As a result, no one was hurt. It is known that 39-year-old detainee is registered with psychiatric institution.
A criminal case under article "The threat of murder" was launched. Investigation is currently under way, BELTA reports.
