Human rights activists: Mazyr authorities break electoral laws

Human rights activists claim that Mazyr authorities have violated electoral laws at the concert "For a Strong and Flourishing Belarus!". Local human rights activist Uladzimir Tseliapun has informed BelaPAN that the local authorities campaigned for Aliaksandr Lukashenka during the concert, which took place at Lenin Square. Mazyr officials spoke to the public urging people to support the current head of the state. However, it is prohibited to campaign at Lenin Square in this city. Uladzimir Tseliapun is going to address to the district executive committee, the public prosecutor's office and the district election commission with a complaint over the violation of electoral laws.
