Hurricane uproots trees in Hlybokaye (photo)
Hurricane hit the area on May 19, leaving the city center damaged.
The storm started at about 7 p.m. The hurricane was over 20 minutes later but a lot of damage had been done by the wind. Roofs were damaged, benches were turned over and a lot of branches were broken.
The wind fell many trees in the Square of Victory. One of them fell down on a house roof. Some of the trees that grew near the canning factory were uprooted. Even the fence near the former Carmelite monastery was damaged.
