Ice Hockey: Michael Grabowski signs 1-year contract with Washington
Grabowski is the only Belarusian hockey player who plays in the NHL.
The official sources do not reveal the sum of the contract, while non-officially it is claimed to be $ 3 million, reports interfax.by.
The 29-year-old sportsman left Toronto due tot he club's initiative several months ago. Grabowski was the best paid forward in Toronto.
Last season, the sportsman played 48 games in the NHL regular championship and got 16 (9+7) points with the index of usefulness being "-10". Moreover, he played for the CSKA Moscow during the lockout time.
