Ihar Boki grabs fifth gold for Belarus at Rio Paralympics
Team Belarus now has five gold medals after swimmer Ihar Boki grabbed gold in the men's 100 free style with 50,90 seconds - his sixth personal medal at the Paralympic Games in Rio. He also won gold in the men's 50m free style, 100m butterfly, 200m meddley, and 400, free style. Boki also won a bronze in 100m breastroke.
At the 2012 Paralympic Games in London, Ihar Boki won five golden and one silver medals. He is well set to improve his statistics on the Sunday night for the 100m backstroke finals if he makes it through in the qualification on Saturday afternoon.
Ihar is 22 years old from the city of Babrujsk.
