IMF: Belarus needs to stop raising wages in 2014
The International Monetary Fund also tells Belarus to reduce drastically the directive crediting.
The IMF recommended it after a regular monitoring of the Belarusian economy.
The IMF pointed at the threat the macroeconomic stability in Belarus is facing and at “the reduction of the buffer reserves needed to decrease the risk”. It was announced that our country needed a stricter macroeconomic policy and deep structural reforms.
IMF directors also advised that the Belarusian government should stop increasing the wages in 2014, BELTA reports.
