Inflation in Belarus 0.9% in April
Since the beginning of the year, prices have risen by less than 6%.
The index of consumer prices in Belarus in April was 0.9%, BELTA reports referring to the National Statistical Committee. In comparison with the beginning of the year, inflation was 5.9%.
Price for non-food products last month rose by 0.8%, for food products by 0.7%. Price of paid services rose by 1.6%.
Recently, the chairman of the National Bank Pavel Kallaur said that the annual index of consumer prices may be less than 16%. According to the parameters of the macroeconomic targets, inflation in 2015 may reach 12%, but the National Bank is believes it could reach 18% and allows for deviation of 2%.
