Interior Ministry calls Maidan storm "site improvement measures"
The Ministry claims such "measures" were conducted at night time in order not to create inconveniences for the city dwellers.
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry's Department on Public Relations has informed this to UNIAN news agency. Alongside with that, the Interior Ministry claims neither the police nor the internal troops soldiers used tear gas or any special equipment against the protesters.
Euroradio reminds, thousands of policemen sealed Maidan and started storming it. The storm is still lasting.
The European leaders condemned the forcible dispersal of the Euromaidan protest action. The United States have expressed "deep revolt by the decision of the Ukrainian government to prefer "Berkut", bulldozers and sticks instead of respect for human dignity and democratic rights in response to a peaceful protest."
